London filmmaker Lutz Becker made exhibition 'Tate on Hot Bricks', in Student Cultural Center Gallery in Belgrade, May 11-18, 1976.
In 1972 the Tate Gallery in London bought Carl Andre's Equivalent VIII (1966), popularly known as 'The Bricks', which consists of 120 firebricks arranged in a rectangle, and which was an international succès de scandale.
Lutz Becker's exhibition did show all of polemics consider purchasing this Carl Andre's work by Tate Gallery.

1972. Tejt galerija iz Londona, kupila je umetnicki rad Karl Andrea, Equivalent VIII (1966), popularno zvanog 'Cigle', sacinjenog od 120 pecenih cigli, postavljenih u obliku pravouglog paralelopipeda (kvadrat), sto je izazvalo skandal, jer su poreski obveznici zapravo bili kupili vlastite cigle za vlastite pare po astronomskoj ceni.
Luc Bekerova izlozba predstavila je sve tadasnje polemike nastale u vezi otkupa ovog rada.
