Konkurs za rezidenciju u Barseloni / AiR in Barcelona - Homesession
Centar 424 (Belgrade AIR) poziva umetnike da konkurišu za rezidencijalni program u Barseloni u periodu mart/april 2018. godine*.
Reč je o novom programu razmene između organizacije Centar 424 iz Beograda i Homesession iz Barselone. Cilj te saradnje je da se poveća vidljivost, svesnost i umetnički rast za umetnike iz Španije i Srbije.
Ovo je žirirani konkurs za izbor jednog umetnika koji će provesti dva meseca u Homesession u Barseloni.
Žiri čine: Olivier Collet - Homesession, Rachel Klipa - Office of Public Art, Picburg, SAD, Danilo Pioli – Homesession i Gordana Žikić - Centar424.
Rok za podnosenje aplikacije je 15. januar 2018. godine do 23:59.
Rezultati će biti poslati imejlom do 1. februara 2018.
Potfolio pripremljen kao PDF dokument (veličine do 5 MB), treba da sadrži:
1. vizuelni materijal do 10 slika
2. opis projekta
3. tekst o radu
4. CV (1-2 strane)
5. linkove za video, web sajt.
Aplikacija je potrebno da bude na engleskom jeziku.

Na konkurs se mogu prijaviti državljani/ke Srbije.
Potrebno je znanje engleskog jezika.
Umetnik snosi putne troškove i troškove života.
Izabrani umetnik će imati obezbeđen besplatan smeštaj za dva meseca boravka i budžet od 300 evra za troškove produkcije.
Umetnik može imati izložbu na kraju boravka ili prezentaciju.
Homesession je od 2007. godine katalizator stvaranja u oblasti vizuelnih umetnosti, sa međunarodnim programom boravka i donacijama za produkciju radova španskih umetnika. U stalnom nastojanju da podrži umetnike i promoviše umetnost, Homesession pozdravlja predloge koji koriste različite medije i prakse, sa jakim fokusom na interdisciplinarno eksperimentisanje.
Homesession nastoji da dopuni rad institucija na umetničkoj sceni Barselone. Obezbeđuje dom za predloge koji su smeli i inovativni u svom sadržaju, isto koliko i u formatu i estetici, ostavljajući prostor za neočekivano.
Rezidencijalni centar nalazi se u centru Barselone.
Beograd AIR je program organaizacije Centar 424 iz Beograda, neprofitne umetničke organizacije koja podržava umetnike i kustose. Program ima za cilj podsticanje kulturne razmene između umetnika iz različitih disciplina, stvaranje dijaloga i promovisanje moguće saradnje.

ARTIST RESIDENCY IN BARCELONA, SPAIN AT HOMESESSION
Belgrade Artist in Residence invites artists to apply for a two month artist residency in Barcelona, Spain during March and April of 2018.
This artist-in-residence program is a newly designed, artist exchange program between Belgrade Artist in Residence and Homesession in Barcelona, Spain. The goal of this collaboration is to increase the awareness, visibility, and artistic growth for both Serbian and Spanish artists.
This is a juried application process.
Jurors are: Olivier Collet, Homesession; Rachel Klipa, Office of Public Art, Pittsburgh, PA, USA; Danilo Pioli, Homesession; Gordana Žikić, Belgrade Artist in Residence.
One artist will be selected to spend two months at Homesession.
Deadline for application is: January 15, 2018 @ 23:59.
Applicants will be notified via e-mail by February 1, 2018.
Application Requirements:
Please send up to 10 images;
Letter of intent (600 word limit);
Artist Statement;
CV or resume (limit is 1-2 pages);
Appropriate links to websites, videos, projects, etc.
Applications must be submitted in English
All of these documents should be prepared in a single PDF; size limit is 5MB.

Artists must be currently living in Serbia, and must be a citizen of the Republic of Serbia, to apply.
Working level of English is required.
Artist is responsible for travel and living expenses. The selected artist will receive free accommodation and a production budget of 300 euros.
The artist will have the choice to organize an exhibition or have a presentation.
